TU Proud invites you to our award-winning annual Intersectional Pride event. The event, in Digital Life, is a collaboration between the five focus groups within the University's EDI sector to promote and raise awareness around our unique qualities and how we can support each other to create a more cohesive and harmonious campus for our University community and outreach.
The event promotes wellbeing activities within the University and local community.
There will be an incredible array of stalls from alumni businesses selling merch to authors, charities and local support services.
We've also lined up performances from our University community as well as a special guest - stand-up comic, performer and author Martin Dixon. London-based Martin will be hosting the event throughout the day.
This year has a special addition of a prize- winning game design competition. Our students were invited to design a game with an intersectional element for participants to interact with at the event. You can also vote for your favourite game design.
The last hour of the day will be a quiet hour for anyone who would like to attend within a low-stim environment.
