Intersectional Pride

TU Proud invites you to attend it's award winning annual Intersectional Pride event. Which will take place in The Digital Life Building. This event is a collaboration between all five focus groups within the universities EDI sector, in order to promote and raise awareness around our unique qualities and how we can support each other to create a more cohesive and harmonious community, within our university.

The event promotes wellbeing activities within the university and local community.

There will be an incredible array of stalls from alumni businesses selling merch to authors, charities and local support services.

The event will see performances from our university community as well as a special guest stand-up comic, performer and author Martin Dixon, all the way from London. He will be hosting the event throughout the day.

This year has a special addition of a game design competition. Students have been given the opportunity to design a game with an intersectional element for participants to interact with at the event. They will also be given the chance to vote which was their favourite game design. Prizes will be given to the winning game(s).

The last hour of the day will be a quiet hour for anyone who would like to attend within a low-stim environment.

If you would like more information about the event, please email Vik Brown
