Join a friendly workshop exploring Teesside’s low-carbon industry future, with site visits, discussion, refreshments and a £30 voucher.
This summer the Net Zero Industry Innovation Centre are running a series of relaxed and friendly workshops for local people who want to learn more about how industry on Teesside is changing as it moves towards low-carbon energy, such as hydrogen and carbon capture.
You'll watch a model that shows the planned changes in our digital lab and take a short walk to visit to a site awaiting redevelopment and use a simple digital visualisation on a phone or tablet to see what future developments might look like. There’s no specialist knowledge needed — just curiosity and a willingness to share your thoughts. We’ll chat as a group about what feels positive, what worries you, who you think might benefit or lose out, and how these changes could affect local communities, the environment, jobs, and skills.
