Growth Associate Programme

Growth Associate Programme

If you are a small or medium-sized company in the Tees Valley looking to solve a design, technical or business challenge, you may be eligible for a funded internship. Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), our Growth Associate Programme lets you tap into our talented pool of graduates with the added benefit of support from an industry expert or an academic from Teesside University.

We will work closely with you to understand your specific needs and help you through the recruitment process to ensure the right fit for your business. Projects are available over 6, 9 or 12 months.

Businesses must be based in the Tees Valley and employing fewer than 250 staff with an annual turnover over no greater than €50m per annum.

This project is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). If you are an SME in the Tees Valley and are interested in the scheme then please contact us to check your eligibility for support.

NYMAS: Getting the right expertise to support future growth

The challenge

Billingham-based company NYMAS manufactures bathroom and toilet equipment for elderly and disabled people for customers including care homes, hospitals and the hospitality industry.

Recognising a gap in the market for specialist ‘luxury’ products NYMAS approached us to help them look at whether it was cost effective to bring their product design and development in-house, as well update their internal processes to support the company’s future growth.
