Teesside University has a track record of working in partnership with businesses and organisations to develop innovative solutions that unlock potential and drive growth.
Our people work on collaborative research projects providing mutual benefit that can be co-funded between your organisation, the university and/or research funding bodies such as Innovate UK, research councils or Horizon Europe. We have professional teams who can advise you on collaborative funding opportunities and support the development of bids.
The University is also home to the region's Innovate UK Business Growth hub to support innovative businesses to grow, scale and go international. The team is part of a national network of government-funded innovation and growth specialists available to all high potential small to medium sized innovation-driven companies, including Innovate UK grant winners.

Contract Research
If your organisation has a novel idea that you want to explore but don't have the means or knowledge in-house to achieve it, Teesside University researchers and facilities might be able to help.
Contract research commissioned directly by your organisation and focuses on finding a bespoke solution to benefit your business with any intellectual property created which is available to be owned and exploited by you.
