Teesside University has extended its international reputation by opening a new office in Pakistan, dedicated to establishing student recruitment opportunities in the region.

The Lahore office was officially opened by Raja Yassir Humayun Sarfraz, Minister of Higher Education Punjab, to help shape the aspirations of Pakistani students by giving them the right support and guidance needed to achieve.

The official opening took place earlier this month and was attended by the chairman of the Pakistan Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), Ali Salman Siddique and the manager of the International Education Services British Council Lahore, Jawed Khan.

The event included dignitaries from Higher Education Pakistan and local Teesside consultants, where it received significant media coverage in English and Urdu including newspapers Daily Jang and City News.

With offices already in India, China, Nigeria and Malaysia, Lahore is the fifth overseas office Teesside University has opened.

In the International Student Barometer 2020*, the average satisfaction rate with support was 95.8% (780 students participated). More info at tees.international.co.uk/international/isb2020.cfm
