In autumn 2009 final-year BA (Hons) TV Production students were set a brief by the BBC to produce five minute films for the Boro Big Screen as part of their assessed work.

Warren Harrison, principal lecturer in media production, said: 'These films are a real celebration of our region, made by talented students who enjoy living and studying here. Anyone coming along may well catch a glimpse of themselves.'

The screenings are part of the University’s annual Creative Arts Week event, which is free and open to the public.

The event celebrates the talent of final-year students in the School of Arts & Media and for 2010 has the overall title of Bespoke.

Other free media screenings take place earlier on Friday 21 May in Room A2.01, second floor, Athena Building, off Woodlands Road, Middlesbrough.
