UCAS applicants seeking to study a degree in mathematics, engineering or computer science can take advantage of a free level 3 online Mathematics for University course to help them prepare them for their studies. There are 100 free places available, which will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dr Dimitrios Nicolaou, Associate Dean in the School of Computing, Engineering & Digital Technologies said: 'Our free online Mathematics for University short course will help UCAS applicants develop their knowledge and understanding in maths so that they can start their degree studies in September confidently and better prepared.
Students can study the online course at their own pace with online support from Teesside University’s academic tutors when they need it.

Students can start the short online course at any time before 17 July, but will have until September to complete the course.
The course is open to all UCAS applicants who receive an offer to study for a courses in mathematics, engineering or computer science. Further details available by emailing Maths4uni@tees.ac.uk
