Trans Awareness Week 2024

13 - 19 November 2024. The theme is ‘Celebrating our Trans Heroes’.

All staff and students can submit their trans hero.

All trans hero submissions will be included in a celebration video and played on the Trans Day of Remembrance. Trans Day of Remembrance marks the tragic loss of trans lives across the globe as a result of hate crime.

The LGBTQ+ focus group invites our University community to come along and watch the celebration videos:

Wednesday 20 November, 12pm, Teesside University campus screens

Wednesday 20 November, 6pm - 8pm, ARC, Stockton Arts Centre, followed by entertainment from local performers and artists, including current and former Teesside University students. Tickets are free and available soon from arconline.co.uk
