Develop your Systematic Literature Searching Skills – Health Students

This optional (online) module covers some key skills for systematic literature searching for Health Students.

What: This optional module is designed to support final / penultimate year undergraduate students and taught postgraduates who need to carry out a systematic search for a dissertation/systematic review in health.

  • The module covers the key skills needed for advanced searches:
  • Planning the search
  • Advanced searching techniques
  • Managing search results

Where: The module runs online via MS Teams.

When: The module runs over 5 consecutive weeks - there are 4 taught sessions and a drop-in – starting on Friday 3rd October 2025. The sessions take place from 12noon-1pm. The taught sessions will also be recorded and made available on the Teams site.

How: If you would like to take part in the module (it is optional and does not form part of your University graded degree), please sign up via the link by Thursday, 2nd October 2025.
