What’s involved
Open days and offer holder days
Welcome visitors and their guests as you showcase Teesside University. You’ll greet prospective students, lead campus and accommodation tours, and ensure everyone enjoys a great experience.
UCAS higher education exhibition
College and sixth form groups connect with a variety of higher education institutions at Teesside University. You’ll welcome visitors, support exhibitors with queries, assist with registration and help ensure everything runs smoothly.
Mentoring
Work closely with pupils in schools and colleges to build skills, raise aspirations, and boost attainment. You’ll also collaborate with teachers to support classroom learning through one-to-one or group sessions. These roles typically involve a series of regular sessions throughout the academic year.
Motivational visits
Guide secondary school pupils around campus and help them develop self-confidence, teamwork and presentation skills.
Virtual events
Deliver online presentations and aspirational activities to pre and post-16 institutions.
