Graduates for Growth

Graduates for Growth aims to drive forward a project for your organisation. We link you with recent graduates to be taken on as either fully-funded interns or part funded employees.

Exclusively for SMEs in the Tees Valley* Graduates for Growth is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and allows companies to develop new products, processes or services to contribute to their growth.

Graduates can either be with you for a fully-funded 12 week graduate internship, employed by the Teesside University. Alternatively, we offer part-funding towards the employment of graduates with a contribution of £4,750 per company over a longer 26 week period.

Funded internships

If you are a small or medium-sized company in the Tees Valley looking for an innovative and customised approach to solve a design, technical or business challenge, you may be eligible for our Growth Associate Programme. Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), this provides a unique chance to build capcity in your business and engage with expertise from Teesside University.

How does it work?

A talented graduate (the intern), mentored by a University academic with relevant expertise drives forward a project for your organisation.

The programme can last up to 12 months, according to your needs, and can be approved within five working days of application.
