Entry requirements for taught postgraduate courses

To apply for a postgraduate certificate (PgCert), postgraduate diploma (PgDip), or a master's degree (MA, MSc, MBA), you normally need one of the following:

  • a good honours degree (minimum 2:2 classification) in a subject related to your chosen course
  • a professional or post-experience qualification relevant to your area of study
  • equivalent qualifications, including international degrees or credentials.

We also consider applicants with relevant work experience and prior learning. Some courses may require an interview, portfolio of creative work, and some a Disclosure and Barring Service check and/or Occupational Health check.
