Menstrual equity and period dignity: end the stigma, not the cycle

International period and women’s rights activist Vivi Lin and menstrual equity activist and researcher Dr Maria Tomlinson will deliver a thought-provoking hybrid talk on menstrual equity, period stigma, and gender equality.

Following the talk everyone is invited to head to the Library where there will be stalls, activities and an art exhibition between 12pm - 3pm. This unique fair is taking an artistic approach to promote awareness around menstruation equity, and represents how people feel when on their period or struggling with other related health conditions. Interactive stalls which will be promoting health and wellbeing within their services. There will be a menstrual cup giveaway and a video game around periods to try out.

Everyone is welcome.
