To celebrate the end of the academic year and those students graduating this year, we would like to invite students to join us on an exciting, steady-paced 11km walk from Stewarts Park, Middlesbrough, all the way to the summit of Roseberry Topping, (and back to the bottom).

The walk will begin along urban paths and woodland areas until we reach some of the most beautiful countryside in North Yorkshire, and will then continue to the climb up Roseberry Topping, where we will ‘Top out on the Topping’ summit, to celebrate your achievement at University so far, or if you are graduating, to represent your complete journey through university all the way to your graduation.

The walking pace will be steady and there will be opportunities for photographs at appropriate points. We will be walking on a mix of surfaces including tarmac, forest paths and steep stone steps. The climb up Roseberry Topping will be taken at a pace that allows the whole group to move together comfortably.
