New apprenticeships

As we continue to extend our professional apprenticeship portfolio we are working closely with industry and practitioners to understand appropriate delivery methods and timescales to meet the needs of your industry.

We have a range of new apprenticeship programmes currently in development, including:

Clinical Associate in Psychology (CAP) (Level 7)

Apprentices study various aspects of psychology, including developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology, and research methods.

Learners develop a range of skills essential for working in clinical psychology, including active listening, empathy, communication, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and documentation.

 

Creative Digital Design Professional (Level 6)

Apprentices study various aspects of creative digital design, including graphic design, web design, user experience (UX) design, interactive media, animation, digital marketing, and multimedia production.

Learners develop a range of skills essential for a career in creative digital design, including creativity, visual communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, time management, and proficiency in design software and tools.

 

Laboratory Scientist (Level 6)

Apprentices study various subjects related to laboratory science, including chemistry, biology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, analytical techniques, laboratory management, quality assurance, and health and safety regulations. Learners also cover scientific principles, research methods, and data analysis.

Learners develop a range of technical and transferable skills essential for a career in laboratory science. These include critical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, time management, and proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation.

 

Public Health Practitioner (Level 6)

Apprentices study various subjects related to public health, including epidemiology, biostatistics, health promotion, health policy, environmental health, social determinants of health, and research methods.

Learners develop a range of skills essential for a career in public health, including critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, project management, data analysis, community engagement, and advocacy for health equity.

 

Senior Leader (Cultural Leadership) (Level 7)

Apprentices study various subjects related to cultural leadership, arts management, cultural policy, audience development, fundraising, marketing, and organizational management. Topics include cultural theory, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts, and the impact of technology on cultural organizations.

Learners develop a range of leadership and management skills essential for success in the cultural sector, including strategic thinking, decision-making, communication, team building, negotiation, problem-solving, and the ability to navigate complex cultural landscapes.

 

Solicitor (Level 7)

Apprentices study various subjects related to law, including contract law, tort law, criminal law, property law, equity and trusts, constitutional law, and legal research and writing. Topics include professional ethics, legal skills, advocacy, and practical legal training.

Learners develop a range of legal and professional skills essential for a career as a solicitor, including legal analysis, problem-solving, communication, advocacy, negotiation, time management, and attention to detail.

 

Therapeutic Radiographer (Level 6)

Apprentices study various subjects related to therapeutic radiography, including anatomy, physiology, radiation physics, oncology, radiobiology, patient care, medical imaging techniques, radiation therapy planning, treatment delivery, and radiation safety.

Learners develop a range of clinical and interpersonal skills essential for a career in therapeutic radiography, including communication, empathy, patient assessment, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.
