Staff car parking
Staff car parking on Middlesbrough campus is very limited and is offered on a first come, first served basis. You can register up to three vehicles for car parking via Unity.
Register for staff parking
All staff who have a relevant car park permit are able to park in:
- in designated spaces of staff car parks
- Dartmouth staff/student all day pay to park car park, paying the appropriate fee
- Cleveland Centre car park (with the appropriate permit).
* Unless otherwise directed by University security or support services staff (car park attendants).
Cleveland Centre users will be issued with the specific terms and conditions applicable to Cleveland Centre with their permit. Cleveland Centre permit holders can access Main Campus Staff car parks after 3.45pm (spaces permitting). Cleveland Centre permits are charged at the same rate as main site permits.
A valid permit must be displayed on any vehicle brought on to campus in line with the terms and conditions. If you have lost or mislaid your issued permit, a replacement can be purchased in the online shop.
Order a replacement permit
The issue of a permit is proof of eligibility to park within the designated car park(s) but does not guarantee a parking space.
The monthly charge is £22.00 (full time users) deducted via Payroll. Access can be given on a 'set' daily basis (same day(s) each week) at a charge of £4.40 per day, per month.
Electric vehicle charging
EV charging is available in the Athena car park (posts on right hand side). To allow access for all EV users, this facility is limited to a maximum of four hours plugged in charge time, before relocating to a non-EV space. This could be another staff car park (with associated permissions), Cleveland Centre (with appropriate permit), on-street parking, private car park.
The current charge rate is .25p per kWh.
