Graduates for Growth

Our exciting Graduates for Growth programme, which is financially supported through the European Development Fund (ERDF), works with SMEs in the Tees Valley to recruit talented graduates as either fully-funded interns or part-funded employees.

Graduates for Growth allows companies to develop new-to-company products, processes or services to contribute to their growth. Interns can be with you for a fully-funded 12 week graduate internship and employed by Teesside University. Alternatively, we offer part-funding towards the employment of a graduate with a contribution of £4,750 per company over a longer 26 week period.

We provide a customised approach enabling you to:

  • Access part-financed graduate talent for short term projects
  • Trial prospective new employees and recruit a recent graduate
  • Get new knowledge, skills and technological know-how to increase your performance, productivity and competitiveness

We work closely with you to understand your specific needs and help you through the recruitment process to ensure the right fit for your business. The aim of Graduates for Growth is to drive forward a project for your organisation.

Businesses must be based in the Tees Valley and employing fewer than 250 staff with an annual turnover over no greater than €50m per annum.

This project is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). If you are an SME in the Tees Valley and are interested in the scheme then please contact us to check your eligibility for support.
