Being an apprentice has allowed me to have access to an array of resources that were previously unavailable to me. As an apprentice software developer at the end of my first university year, I feel plenty more confident in my skills. I am now undertaking an important project for my workplace entirely by myself, which feels like a challenge but like an achievable one, while up until last September it would have felt impossible.
