Professor James Caldwell scholarship

Professor James Caldwell, a former Teesside University professor of Mathematics, generously gives £2,000 a year towards support for a self-funding PhD or MPhil student in Computing.

Dr Keith Skeoch postgraduate scholarship

In 2013, Dr Keith Skeoch generously instituted a new scholarship fund. From this we are offering four £2,500 scholarships to students enrolling on postgraduate programmes at the University's School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Law.

Dr Keith Skeoch MBA scholarship

Dr Keith Skeoch has generously agreed to fund ten £1,500 scholarships to enable students enrolling on the part-time MBA programme in either June or September 2018 to undertake international learning expeditions.

To be eligible candidates must be a Home/EU student enrolled on the part-time MBA programme at Teesside University Business School.

The deadline to apply for the Dr Keith Skeoch MBA scholarship is 5 October 2018. Successful applicants will be notified by 2 November 2018.

If you have not heard by this date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful.

Elite athlete scheme

This scheme provides access to state- of-the-art equipment and expertise, and sometimes financial help. It is open to students who are athletes at international level or with exceptional international potential.

Teesside Sanctuary Awards

Teesside University is committed to the economic, social and cultural success of its students and its local communities, and embraces diversity and opposes prejudice and injustice. Our Sanctuary Award offers support for up to five students, three for undergraduate and two for postgraduate courses. The Sanctuary Award will cover your course fees and contribute towards your study costs through a Learning Bursary.*

The deadline to apply for the Teesside Sanctuary Awards is 30 April 2018. Successful applicants will be notified by 11 June 2018.

Student Experience Fund

If you're a current student and have a great idea for a project that could make a real difference, you can apply for funding for help to do something amazing. You can apply for up to £2,000 to support you as an individual or as part of a group project.

Smart card credit

We credit £50 to your smart card when you enrol on a full-time postgraduate taught course. You can redeem this against printing and photocopying costs. This benefit is also for NHS students.
