Kellas Midstream Postgraduate MSc Clean Energy Scholarship

Teesside University is partnering with Kellas Midstream to offer generous scholarships to support bright and committed individuals to gain the critical knowledge and skills needed to help the energy sector transition to clean energy.

These £12,000 MSc scholarships are part of the University’s wider partnership work with Kellas Midstream to facilitate change in the energy sector by building new business opportunities around Net Zero.

How to apply for a scholarship

Before you apply for a scholarship you need a formal offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on an eligible course from the University. You are then sent a scholarship application form to complete shortly after you have accepted your offer of a place. Your offer includes your student ID which you will need for your scholarship application.

Courses commencing in September

  • Scholarship application deadline: last Friday in September

Scholarship payment schedule (September start)

  • One-year full-time study: four equal instalments of £3,000, normally paid in October, January, April and July.
  • Two-year full-time study (including Advanced Practice): as above, in the first year of your course.

Courses commencing in January

  • Scholarship application deadline: second Friday in January

Scholarship payment schedule (January start)

  • One-year full-time study: four equal instalments of £3,000, normally paid in January, April, July and October.
  • Two-year full-time study (including Advanced Practice): as above, in the first year of your course.

Important scholarship information

The University reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship and cease further scholarship payments if you should withdraw from your course, suspend studies, transfer to an ineligible course or to another institution. Payments may also be suspended or the scholarship permanently withdrawn if you do not remain fully committed and engaged with your learning. You are required to maintain an excellent record of attendance and to complete all your course assignments and assessments.
