Tell us about your background
I have substantial industry experience, working for leading international airlines and sector organisations.
How does this enhance your teaching?
I am passionate and enthusiastic about aviation sustainability and human factors management. I encourage students to facilitate, flourish and succeed in their learning, motivating them to be innovative, and empowering them to fulfil their career ambitions.
What can students expect from one of your classes?
Dynamic and collaborative learning. We explore strategies that correspond with sector demands, considering how these function within a real-world work environment.
Highlight of your career?
It would have to be the week-long aviation conference I organised. This gave our students the opportunity to connect with 18 leading sector organisations… amazing. And then to receive a Teesside Star Award shortlist from my peers.
Best piece of advice for students?
Fall forward.
