Study our courses and spend time in a purpose-built classroom at the airport, learning from people who work in the industry. You get real-world experience and a behind-the-scenes look at how an airport works - from ground operations and air traffic control, to leadership, management and marketing.

Staff from the airport, as well as its onsite tenants support your learning as you get an immersive experience at the UK's fastest-recovering airport, allowing you to put in practice the theory you've been taught in the classroom and enhance your employability skills. Be at the forefront of new and emerging technologies being developed or trialled in association with the airport, including hydrogen vehicles and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

The Aviation Academy also supports the Tees Valley Combined Authority education, employment and skills vision to help you progress in your career, develop and retain regional talent, and promote Tees Valley as a great place to study, work and live.
