Why Teesside?

I moved to Teesside to play football for Middlesbrough, and the University helped me transfer from Birmingham so I could finish my degree. The facilities were also a selling point, as the Library had a range of books available to help my research.

Best thing about your course?

The support I received from staff. They were always enthusiastic and enjoyed teaching, which made classes enjoyable. I also had a lot of support with writing my dissertation, making it less stressful. The modules were really engaging and appealed to my interests as well.

What do you do now?

I’m a professional footballer for Royal Union Saint-Gilloise.

Favourite thing about Teesside?

Teesside is a lot more friendly than the bigger university I was at before, so it fit my learning style much better. It also provides a flexible way to study, and I benefitted from the evening classes.
