If you're a student enrolling on a full-time course, your timetabled learning activities could be scheduled for any time from Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 6.00pm. Your contact time may be concentrated over a couple of days or spread throughout the week. As a full-time student, you are expected to prioritise your week around your studies and plan non-university related activities once you've received your timetable.
We do our best to ensure you aren't travelling in for a single session or have long gaps between activities - however, this isn't always possible because of the complexities of timetabling within a large university. Teesside University provides excellent facilities to support you if you have free time between learning activities - you can use the Library, informal learning spaces, open access PC labs and the Student's Union.
If you are a part-time student, you aren't expected to prioritise your week around your studies to the same extent but you should be familiar with your study days before making other plans.
