The successful team of BSc (Hons) Marketing students from Teesside University International Business School included final year students Tai Soyebi, Ibrahim Banaras and Jack Cockerill, alongside second-year students Olivia Hawkins, Annie Thacker and Jess Flynn, who worked together to deliver a strategic marketing campaign which combined consumer insight, creative thinking and clear commercial impact.
This year's competition included teams comprising final-year undergraduate students from Northumbria and postgraduate students from Newcastle and Sunderland universities.
Dr Femi Waters-Ajisafe, Principal Lecturer Marketing, Teesside University International Business School, said: “This year's competition brought together some of the brightest and most talented students from across the region. This is a phenomenal achievement.
“Team Teesside not only impressed the judging panel, which included Greggs’ head of customer insights, head of branding, head of data analysis and AI, and the head of commercial retail, but also captured the audience vote, making it an incredible double win which is testament to their talent, dedication and teamwork.”
