Criminology

Criminology is the scientific study of crime, including its causes, responses by law enforcement and methods of prevention. As a criminologist, you study crime as an individual and social phenomenon and explore criminal behaviour and its social context, crime control, state crime, and criminal and restorative justice. You also study the penal system to understand its role within the broader criminal justice system.
