Business Change, Improvement and Projects
The Business Change, Improvement and Projects Team (BCIP) Team support the delivery of the University's BCIP Programme. The team work closely with project sponsors, leads, managers and key stakeholders through each stage of the University's Project Management Framework, from initial concept, to detailed design, delivery, reporting and evaluation.
The Programme is directly linked to delivering the University's five
Corporate Aims and covers the following six key themes of transforming our:
- operations
- student learning experience
- service delivery
- campus
- digital offering
- people, organisational development and communications.
The Programme has been designed to:
- deliver a strategic step change in key University activities
- adopt a holistic approach to project delivery (aligning projects and managing interdependencies across the University)
- provide a sound project management framework, ensuring projects are well planned, coordinated, managed, delivered, communicated and evaluated
- embed an outcome-based delivery model clearly focused on the mapping and review of project outcomes and benefits
- enable a central and coordinated approach to project reporting, monitoring and review
- increase opportunities for engagement, transparency and accountability
- play a fundamental part in the delivery of our Corporate Strategy: Teesside 2027.
