Course overview

Enhance your analysis and research knowledge and skills at doctoral level, alongside developing advanced critical and independent study.

How you learn

Learn through intensive study sessions, using the MIMA Study Centre as a base, fostering a community attitude and supporting collaboration.

Lectures and workshops are delivered during the intensive sessions by a team of academics and professors, supported by visiting professionals.

You are expected to take a high level of responsibility for your own learning, with supervisor support, outside of the intensive sessions.

How you are assessed

You are assessed through a presentation and submission of project work. This typically includes reports, presentations, project research and development work, finished presentations and visuals. Each module has continuous informal assessments throughout the semester and includes a formal assessment such as a portfolio or essay supporting a research project.

The assessments are available and discussed from the beginning of the module and you are made aware of the learning journey and assessment structure for all modules.
