There have been huge developments on the campus in recent years. I am proud to say I have studied at Teesside.
After giving birth I realised I wanted to become a midwife. I was a secondary school teacher, but realised I wanted to pursue a career in midwifery to show my children if you are not happy with something in your life you can change it. I registered to an open at Teesside University and I was really impressed with the facilities as well as the midwifery department.
Pathophysiology was my favourite module as I found it interesting to develop my knowledge from my previous degree. The lecturer was also inspiring and informative who displayed varied modes of teaching to keep us all engaged and ensured we all understood the concepts.

I have completed charity fundraising as part of the midwifery society to raise money for charities such as 4Lois. I was awarded the gold award at the Voluntees awards for my work and the fundraising I did.
I do recommend studying at Teesside. The whole experience was great not just my course. The midwifery course thoroughly prepared me for life as a midwife and made sure I was ready for anything that is thrown my way.
