Why Teesside?

I always wanted to further my education. After working as a nurse, I decided I needed a change. I reached out to Teesside and they were great at supporting my decision. My love for the University has only increased as they do everything to help you achieve your dreams.

Best thing about your course?

I enjoy everything about the course. It is well structured and delivered to a high standard. My favourite modules are The Fashion Project and Business Enterprise as they teach you how the fashion industry works in depth.

How are the campus services?

The campus has everything a student you need. Services such as Student Futures are always there when you need help with your CV or when applying for jobs.

Did you do any work experience?

The University has excellent connections with local businesses and I had the opportunity to complete some work experience at local designer clothing store Psyche. I had the chance to work in a variety of departments which gave me an insight into how a job in the industry would feel.

Would you recommend Teesside?

I would recommend Teesside as I believe it is one of the most advanced universities in the UK. The lecturers are passionate and do everything to set you up for employment. All the modules are interesting and provide a detailed look into how the work relates to the workplace.

Any advice for future students?

The best advice I can give is not to stress as the lecturers and staff are always there for you when you need some help. They want you to succeed just as much as you do and will do anything they can to help you achieve your goals.
