Why Teesside?

The University is close to me and was one of the few that offered my course. I had also heard good things about it from my friends and it has a great reputation in the region.

Best thing about your course?

The course was excellent. I enjoyed every module as they were all different and informative. It is very practical, and the tutors are always helpful. We had the opportunity to help sports teams with physio during games which is a great experience.

Favourite module?

My favourite module was Manual Therapy as this was where we had the opportunity to diagnose and treat specific injuries. This is why working with the sports teams was a great opportunity as it allowed us to apply what we learn.

What was the social life like?

The Students’ Union was amazing, I went there for lunch almost every day to play pool and relax with my friends. There was always events you can attend with other students, so you always have something to do in your spare time.

What have you done since graduating?

I have set up my own sports therapy business and I currently have 150 clients. My business has been running for two years now and it would not have been possible if I didn’t attend Teesside.

Would you recommend Teesside?

Yes absolutely. The University is great in every way. I thoroughly enjoy studying here and the facilities and staff are amazing. The staff push you to achieve your best and are always available to help you during your studies.
