It’s a subject I find really interesting and I hope to pursue a career in this field.

What skills have you learnt?
I’ve expanded my self-awareness and communication skills, which helps when I’m talking to people in my personal life and volunteering role.
What do you think about the teaching?
The staff are so approachable and supportive and the teaching is superb. This is one of the reasons I chose to study at Redcar & Cleveland College.
Ambitions for the future?
I’d like to qualify as a counsellor, using my skills and knowledge in my voluntary work and then possibly look for a job in this area.
