I chose Redcar & Cleveland College as it has a good reputation and ran the course I wanted.

Why chemical engineering?

I work in the chemical industry, so It fitted in with my line of work, and helped me extend my knowledge and understanding for my job.

Best thing about your course?

The mathematics for solving equations and working out values. I really enjoyed it and the problem solving.

What experience have you gained that you feel will help you in your chosen career?

I completed a project to design a new chemical system for the company I work for. It helped me understand and gain experience on project management and the type of factors a chemical engineer needs to consider to make a project successful.

What do you think about the campus and teaching?

The campus is a great place to learn with the right facilities and teachers which helped guide me through the course.

What are your ambitions for the future?

To carry on learning and study a top-up degree at the University. Studying a degree will develop my knowledge and improve my skills to become an engineer.
