I wanted to develop transferable skills for my career and increase my earnings. I chose Teesside because it’s ranked highly in career advice, employability and student satisfaction.

Best thing about your course?

It met my future career aspirations. I’ve enjoyed exploring different areas and I enjoyed modules such as Innovation by Design and Design Practice.

Tell us about the campus and services

The campus is great with unique resources for teaching and learning. The Library is second to none, equipped with modern information technology and learning materials.

Do you have a job during your studies?

I have a part-time job for the NHS in Roseberry Park Hospital.

What skills have you gained that will help you in your chosen career?

I have gained transferable skills like creativity, leadership, team management, communication, problem solving, adaptability, data analysis and most importantly technological literacy.

Future ambitions?

To become an art therapist.
