I have thoroughly enjoyed my three years here, so much so that I have accepted a place to study a postgraduate degree.

The teaching staff are always incredibly helpful and understanding and helped me to better realise my potential.

I am responsible for investigating serious and complex crime and misconduct within the Armed Forces, both in the UK and whilst on military operations, such as Afghanistan.

Teesside is a lot more friendly than the bigger university I was at before, so it fit my learning style much better.

The modules were unique and interesting. The lecturers are genuinely great people too, continuing to support me and my business after I graduated.

The course really helped me realise what I was passionate about.

I liked that the course was flexible and allowed me to juggle studying and training full time.

I was encouraged to follow my dreams and given some excellent advice.

I lead the UN’s strategic response to cybercrime, money laundering and terrorist financing by delivering capacity building in over 70 countries.

I loved every minute, which is why I want to come back.

The best part about the course was the supportive environment between classmates and the tutors. We worked hard, built a great supportive network and were a tight-knit group that could trust each other with our writing.

I loved my course, especially the forensic classes which were amazing.

I gained a diverse array of richly transferrable knowledge and skills, as well as forging friendships and the opportunity to research and contribute to academic conferences internationally.

As a result of Teesside University's investment in me, I have held several senior roles in heritage, strong ambitions to pursue a PhD, and am currently employed in a hugely satisfying role helping my local community.

The course is incredible, with teaching staff who are so knowledgeable, supportive and hands-on. I could not have asked for a nicer university experience.

The best thing about the course was the enthusiasm of the lecturers. They encouraged me not only to write, but to broaden my reading. Teesside introduced me to a community of writers, there’s lots going on for writers in the area.

My MA gave me everything I needed to find, and land, my dream job. I’m excited to see where else it takes me!

I completed my Bachelor of Laws degree at Teesside and when it came to postgraduate study, it was the only university I considered. I had a great experience when studying for my undergraduate degree, the University has an excellent reputation and is on my doorstep, it was an easy choice.

I really enjoyed the theoretical modules as they were taught by some of the most influential criminologists in the country and their expertise was priceless.

For anyone who is considering doing some distance learning, I would definitely advocate it and I would absolutely champion and recommend Teesside University.
