I've been working as an atelierista (artist in residence) in early childhood education spaces. It's been a fertile ground where the arts and pedagogy can really thrive.

Ann-Aniedi Asikpo is a Nigerian-born creative practitioner, researcher and founder of Ann-Aniedi Asikpo Studio, based in Stockton-on-Tees, United Kingdom. She holds a Master's degree in Public Relations from Teesside University and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR). Her work explores the intersection of African heritage textiles, cultural storytelling, public engagement and digital innovation. She is the creator of The DECODE Archive, an educational framework documenting traditional African textiles through historical research, material science, craftsmanship and cultural attribution. Her work encourages museums, universities and fashion practitioners to recognise African textiles as important cultural records rather than simply decorative fabrics. In August 2026, Ann-Aniedi was invited as an international Guest Speaker by Announce Digital Fashion and the Digital Fashion Institute, where she delivered a masterclass introducing the DECODE methodology to a global audience of digital fashion professionals. Her current practice includes: Heritage textile research Museum exhibition development Public speaking Educational masterclasses Cultural storytelling Sustainable fashion advocacy Digital fashion collaboration Through her work, she aims to preserve traditional knowledge while creating new opportunities for education, creativity and cross-cultural understanding. Mission "Africa has 54 nations. Each one has a fabric. Each fabric has a story."

The main focus of my work is exploring decay and industrial archaeology in and around East Cleveland working figuratively and abstract.

My practice is in textiles where I work within socially engaged practice. I write, curate and make durational work using textiles local to my area.

I originally applied to go art college when I was 16, but didn't make it, so in between then and now I was in the RAF, was a postman, a self-employed printer and publisher, a political organiser and a Member of Parliament. I then became a full-time artist. And got an MA. My most recent exhibition was in the Glass Box Gallery in Scarborough My work uses a variety of mediums and its meaning is largely impenetrable

My art practice centres around colour and architecture. Using mainly paint as my preferred medium, I have built up a large body of work that includes temporary and permanent public art commissions.

I still teach my own art classes, am a member of Cleveland Art Society and exhibit regularly in the north-east. I had a one man show at PALACE ARTS, Redcar, and later at SAABAT GALLERY in South Bank of portraits in 2019, called TRIBE. I continue to produce fine art and graphic design.

I create interactive performance and film that invites people to actively participate, collaborate and connect. Working as a choreographer and director, I focus on large-scale, socially engaged projects that place community and shared experience at their heart.

I am a photographic practitioner interested in abstract, experimental and creative photography. My current work evokes scientific ideas and concepts seeking to raise questions about the beginnings of our universe.

Not only do I design and create works of art, but I get to put them on clients who I get to chat to all day. I have continued my love of concept art into my tattoos by specialising in fantasy and gaming tattoos.

Commissioned by Red Nile on a Heritage arts project about the regeneration of Middlehaven. Working as a lead invigilator at the New Art Exchange, Nottingham. Working with artists and the public on several exhibitions

I divide my time between my own practice which is predominantly textile and drawing based and working on projects which promote community engagement.

I am a parent carer, caring for my daughter who had meningitis as a baby. I am currently studying for a practice lead PhD in Fine Art at Teesside looking at the realities of being a parent carer. I exhibit locally and conduct workshops in drawing and textiles with children with SEN and those who struggle with being at school. I also work part time for a local charity, working with people with disabilities. I see walking as a way to escape the pressures of daily life. I like to walk, photographing and painting the area which inspires my writing and then creative pieces.

I create character concept art for video games. I work in a range of styles from detailed high fantasy and realistic historical RPG designs, to stylised family friendly mascot creatures. I have over 10 years of experience as a graphic novel artist, showcasing my artwork at conventions such as MCM and EGX. Former lead character concept artist for the narrative demo RPG Lux Primora, creature and character concept artist for Star Squadron's Voidstalker card set, and currently a character concept artist intern at Shiverbug Studios. In 2025, I was honoured to be awarded The Leni Oglesby Prize for Achievement for Best Graduating Student, The Deans Award in Digital Art and Animation, and Winner for the second year in a row for The Expo Tees Best Character Concept Artist. I always dedicate everything to creating characters and worlds that I hope people will love, simply because game art means so much to me, but to be recognised with so much kindness and support for my dedication to concept art means more to me than I can ever express.

I run socially engaging art groups and projects in Redcar and Cleveland. I specialise in work to improve wellbeing and raise aspiration. I also exhibit my own work. ART Wanders and VanessaARTS( FB)
