Role: Atelierista
I've been working as an atelierista (artist in residence) in early childhood education spaces. It's been a fertile ground where the arts and pedagogy can really thrive.
Anthony Shaw

Role: Freelance artist, Lecturer in digital drawing
The main focus of my work is exploring decay and industrial archaeology in and around East Cleveland working figuratively and abstract.
Emma Louise Bennett

My art practice centres around colour and architecture. Using mainly paint as my preferred medium, I have built up a large body of work that includes temporary and permanent public art commissions.

I still teach my own art classes, am a member of Cleveland Art Society and exhibit regularly in the north-east. I had a one man show at PALACE ARTS, Redcar, and later at SAABAT GALLERY in South Bank of portraits in 2019, called TRIBE. I continue to produce fine art and graphic design.

I create interactive performance and film that invites people to actively participate, collaborate and connect. Working as a choreographer and director, I focus on large-scale, socially engaged projects that place community and shared experience at their heart.

Role: Photographic artist
I am a photographic practitioner interested in abstract, experimental and creative photography. My current work evokes scientific ideas and concepts seeking to raise questions about the beginnings of our universe.
Melissa Ramsay Hall

Role: Tattoo artist
Not only do I design and create works of art, but I get to put them on clients who I get to chat to all day. I have continued my love of concept art into my tattoos by specialising in fantasy and gaming tattoos.
Phillippa Helen Rook

Role: Artist
I divide my time between my own practice which is predominantly textile and drawing based and working on projects which promote community engagement.
Vanessa Ann Langford

Role: Community artist
I run socially engaging art groups and projects in Redcar and Cleveland. I specialise in work to improve wellbeing and raise aspiration. I also exhibit my own work.
