Living in Teesside

Teesside University is located in the centre of Middlesbrough, a friendly, diverse town, in the heart of the North East of England. The town has lots of amenities and attractions including, shops, cafés and restaurants, sports facilities, art galleries, museums, cinemas, nightlife, parks and so much more.

Saltburn beach/pier

The town has good rail links from Middlesbrough train station to other parts of UK including nearby Darlington, Newcastle, York, and Leeds. Other major cities, including Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, and London, can also be accessed via bus or train.

There's plenty to do and see in and around the Teesside area. From local seaside towns to famous historic attractions and annual cultural events.

Worship

Middlesbrough is a multicultural town with a wide range of faith communities. Within easy reach of the University, you will find Anglican, Baptist, Buddhist, Greek Orthodox, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish, Methodist, Quaker, Roman Catholic, Sikh, and United Reformed places of worship.
