Speaker
Rachel Dove (MA Creative Writing, 2019) was born and bred in West Yorkshire, in Wakefield. She has had a variety of jobs and careers over the years, but books and education are her first loves. Books have been a huge love of Rachels, since she was a little girl and her mother used to buy her a Ladybird book every week. She adores the written word, and romance has always captured her heart on the screen and on the pages. Now an established author, Rachel has had many successes including winning the Prima magazine and Mills & Boon Flirty Fiction Competition, with her entry, The Chic Boutique on Baker Street in July 2015. The Flower Shop on Foxley Street followed this in 2017 and both books hit the Amazon top 200. Chic Boutique got to #2 in the rural life humour chart. In 2020, The Second Chance Hotel got to #80 on the main Amazon chart. Rachel has written 20 books to date, including many for the Mills & Boon Medical line. She signed with Boldwood Books in 2022, and her first release was the 2023 romance, Ten Dates. She is the winner of the Writers Bureau Writer of the Year Award in 2016 and she has had work published in the UK and overseas in various magazines and newspaper publications.
