Crime, Forensic & Investigative Sciences

Teesside University is an established UK centre for forensic and crime scene science education – with over 20 years of history teaching in these subjects. We pride ourselves on having former crime scene and forensic practitioners as lecturers. All of our undergraduate crime scene and forensic degree routes are accredited by The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, the professional body representing Forensic Sciences worldwide.

Our courses are based on scientific investigative principles, giving you a blend of scientific understanding and broader analytical, management and professional skills.

If you have completed Level 3 qualifications (for example AS Levels, BTEC Nationals) and have at least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics, you may be eligible for a guaranteed place on an Extended degree course in your chosen subject whilst still working towards meeting the conditions required for a course with higher entry requirements.
