Your Voice Matters

We are committed to giving you the best possible student experience. And we need your help to get it right.

Your Voice Matters is your chance to share your thoughts on how we do things – and help shape the student experience for everyone.

Working together with the Students' Union, we want to give you more opportunities to get your voice heard throughout your time at university.

Share your ideas, opinions and feedback with us by emailing However large or small you think your issue is, we’d love to hear from you.

Why get involved?

We want your time at Teesside to be the best it can possibly be – but we need your help to get things right. By providing us with your suggestions, you can help improve the student experience for everyone.

Here to listen

We’re here to listen. That’s why we’ve set up a dedicated email address for you to provide feedback and to let us know if you have any concerns about your university experience. Our Student Journey team will respond quickly and address the issues you raise.

Taking action

We’re making changes based on your feedback. Check your student emails for regular updates on what we’ve been doing to improve your experience.

Student Charter

The Student Charter has been developed in partnership between the University and Students’ Union, in consultation with students. It sets out what you can expect from us during your time at university and what we expect from you. Continue to shape the Student Charter by sharing your views and feedback with us at

We are committed to delivering an outstanding student and learning experience and a central part of this is listening directly to you, our students.

We want your time at University to be a rich, fulfilling and rewarding experience and will do everything we can to make that happen.

Professor Mark Simpson, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching)

We want you to have the best student experience possible. Working with the University and you, we will make sure that your voice is heard.

Remember, 'one voice can be effective when the rest of the world is quiet. Avoid being an echo – be a voice.'
