Sunderland City Council: Time to Care Project

Cat O’Neill and colleagues carried out an evaluation of Sunderland City Councils Time to Care Project.

Challenge

They examined the effectiveness of approaches taken to raise-awareness of self-harm and establish how to respond and work with young people in order to support coping mechanisms.

Solution

The University developed a bespoke research-led evaluation project.

Impact

During the project, the views of a range of stakeholders including schools, parents, young people and the co-ordinator of the partnership were explored to inform future commissioning decisions and potential models of delivery across the city.
