Entry requirements

Qualification Entry requirements
For entry onto a Foundation or Extended programme, applicants require:

70% minimum from Tawjihiya with good grades in relevant subjects

For entry onto an Undergraduate programme, applicants require:

For entry onto Year 1: First year of a degree from the University of Bahrain, grade C+ or a minimum grade-point average of 2.4 or a recognised foundation course.

Or, holders of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with 27 points or more will be considered for direct admission to Bachelor degree courses

For entry onto Higher National Diploma: 2.4 minimum grade-point average.

For entry onto Integrated Master of Engineering – MEng (Hons): 2.6 minimum grade-point average.

Advanced entry to undergraduate:
You may be able to go straight to Year 2 if you have completed two years of a relevant degree course from a recognised university
Decided on a case-by-case basis – your course must closely match our own curricula.

For entry onto a Postgraduate programme, applicants require:

67% or 2.67/4.0 minimum from a bachelor’s degree in a related field from a public or recognised private university
