The International Student Barometer (ISB) is an annual survey conducted by Etio, an independent organisation that reviews, evaluates, benchmarks, and supports education services in institutions worldwide.

About the International Student Barometer (ISB)

The International Student Barometer (ISB) provides universities with an understanding of international students' motivations, expectations and experiences at participating institutions worldwide.

At Teesside University, we use this survey to gain insights into the experience we offer our international students, identify what we are doing well, and understand where we can improve.

Participation in the International Student Barometer Autumn 2024

In the recent autumn 2024 survey, Teesside University received a total of 1,712 responses, resulting in a response rate of 39.2% from a population of 4,364 students. Globally, 105,385 students participated in the survey, sharing their feedback on their respective institutions.
