Teesside University offers a range of scholarships for eligible international students who demonstrate academic excellence in their application. These scholarships aim to support students who receive the highest grades prior to joining the University.
The Global Excellence Scholarship value is £2,000 for your first full academic year of study (all successful applicants on a foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate programmes).
The scholarship is allocated as a fee waiver.

This scholarship cannot be offered in conjunction with any other Teesside University scholarship.
You do not need to apply separately or contact the University to be considered for the scholarship. You are assessed using details on your course application. If you are successful, the University will contact you by email with a scholarship offer, please look out for this communication. If you are not successful on this occasion, you will not be contacted with a scholarship offer. All eligible international applicants will be assessed by the International Scholarships Committee.
Awards are made at the discretion of the International Scholarships Committee, who may consider your financial background, prior academic performance, and other information provided through your application or at any subsequent interview. To ensure your application will be considered by the International Scholarships Committee, you must hold an offer by 30 April 2026.
