Creative Industries Summer School in Prague

Overview

This summer programme provides you with an opportunity to explore Prague and the Czech Republic with exclusive access and a personalised approach.

Prague City University is small and vibrant located in the centre of Prague and teaching programmes in the Creative Industries and Business.

The main focus is on gaining insight into the culture while also getting a hands-on experience within the creative industries that the country is known for.

Each week has a classroom element combine with an excursion to the offices of PCU Industry Network Partners. Not only you will gain practical knowledge on the topic of the day, also see how to apply it in the real world setting of a multinational corporation or a local start-up.

Throughout the week students will also have the opportunity to take daytrips to historic place to explore architecture, nature and more. In some cases, the daytrips will be combined with a theme/industry, while other days will be an opportunity to explore more of the country itself.

Who should participate to the programme

The programme was created for students in the Creative fields, from Fine Art or Photography to Media Production and Concept Art.


Accommodation

Students will stay in student accommodation in the centre of Prague, shared rooms.


Dates

3nd July until 30th July 2023

Please be mindful that flights might be schedule a day before and a day after the dates published.


Fees and Scholarships

Students from Disadvantaged Background Fee: £300

Regular fee: £900

Both the Disadvantaged and Regular fees are subsidised by Teesside University and the Turing Scheme.


Important information

UK and EU students will not be required to apply for a visa prior to their departure. Other students might be required to apply to a visa prior to their departure.
