Overview

This is an intensive French Language Programme with native teachers specialized in French as a Second Language Teaching. All levels are welcome, you will receive a placement test before arrival. Courses from beginner to advanced level. 70 (or 95) contact hours, small groups. Opportunity to get a Level Certificate. Free access to the Library and Media Centre

  • Practice French by discovering the history and culture of the Atlantic Coast.
  • Discover La Roche-sur-Yon, Napoleon city, and the French gastronomy.
  • Enjoy the Historical Theme Park 'Puy du Fou', Best Historical World Park in 2017. Experience the seaside resort of Les Sables d'Olonne.
  • Cooking workshop.

Who should participate to the programme

The programme is open to all Teesside University students. It's a perfect course for language lovers, especially those who have always wanted to learn or improve their French language skills. Also for those you are interested in learning more about the French/ European Culture


Accommodation

You will stay in university accommodation, individual rooms with shared facilities.

Fees and Scholarships

Regular fee: £200
Disadvantaged Background Fees: £200

Travel is not provided for this programme, students will have to organise their own. Students from a Disadvantaged Background will receive a scholarship of £250 from the Turing Scheme to support their travel costs.

Teesside University and the Turing Scheme subsidise the programme.
