Teesside University offers a range of scholarships to support eligible students coming to study at the University from China.
The China Bursary Scholarship value is £1,000 for your first full academic year of study (all successful applicants on a foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate programme).
The scholarship is allocated as a fee waiver.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship (but not guaranteed).

This scholarship cannot be offered in conjunction with any other Teesside University scholarship.
You do not need to apply separately or contact the University to be considered for the scholarship. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you are assessed automatically by the International Scholarship Committee.
Awards are made at the discretion of the International Scholarship Committee, who may consider your financial background, prior academic performance, as well as other information provided through your application and at any subsequent interview.
Eligible students offered a scholarship will be notified by email, please look out for this communication. The email will contain a deadline by which you must pay your deposit and accept the offer. If you do not meet the deadline provided, the scholarship offer will be revoked and offered to another eligible student.
To ensure your application will be considered by the International Scholarships Committee, you must hold an offer by 30 April 2026.
